Spend a hands-on day learning what life as an alpaca farmer is really like. You’ll help with feeding and everyday husbandry, try halter training and take an alpaca walk before turning your attention to fleece—covering skirting, carding, spinning and knitting. The day can be tailored around your interests and includes drinks, snacks, a certificate and a Little Alpaca Company mug. Bring your own lunch and prepare to get properly involved.

A relaxed private visit to meet, feed and learn about the animals.

Enjoy a relaxed, private visit to the farm, arranged exclusively for your group. You’ll meet and feed our alpacas and chickens, learn about their care and individual personalities, and discover how we process their fleece by hand. There will also be refreshments and time to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Every visit is personal and unhurried, giving you plenty of opportunities to ask questions and spend time getting to know the herd.

Alpaca Walks

Alpaca Walks

A private countryside walk with one of our alpacas by your side.

Price: £30 walker · £20 non-walker
Duration: Allow up to 2 hours
Group size: 2–6 people, including at least 1 walker
Age: Alpaca leaders must be 13+

Take a private, leisurely walk through our six-acre field with one of our halter-trained alpacas by your side. Along the way, you’ll enjoy beautiful views, plenty of alpaca chat and lots of opportunities for photographs. You’ll also meet the rest of the herd and our pygmy goats, before finishing with refreshments and a look at how we turn alpaca fleece into handmade knitwear. Allow up to two hours for the full experience.
